The 2009 vintage has a beautiful deep purple robe.
It’s complex nose mixes berries (raspberry, blackberry) and animal notes with a chocolate background.

Château Ramafort 2008
The 2008 vintage is deep in colour, with a violet lustre.
The nose is very expressive and well-blended with a flavour of small red fruit, a subtle vanilla, woody hint and a harmonious smoky touch.
The first taste is concentrated and it matures into finely-grained, characteristic tannic flavours. The fruity aromas with a pleasant spicy note give continued balance and enhance the tasting experience.
Château Ramafort 2007
Beautiful purple colour with bright red tints.
Initially flowery on the nose, evolving to aromas of raspberry and morello cherry with a hint of vanilla.
The texture on the palate is elegant with ripe and precise tannins with a fresh finish.
Château Ramafort 2006
Beautiful velvety crimson.
The perfumed nose of violet and mild spices lengthens to ripe fruit.
The front of palate is rounded, powerful and balanced. The end of palate is mouth-filling and aromatic, with underlying tannins that will need another year or two to smooth out.
Château Ramafort 2005
Profound ruby red in colour, Château Ramafort 2005 is already displaying fine complexity on the nose, in which red-berried fruits predominate with whiffs of lime blossom and honeysuckle.
The same harmony is found on the chewy, elegant palate and in the fine tannins which support the clean, frank, fruity aromas.
Château Ramafort 2004
Deeply coloured, between ruby and garnet.
Intense redcurrant, cassis and undergrowth on the nose. Swirling reveals minty notes.
The palate is powerful but well integrated, with fat, mellow tannins. A lush, modern-style wine that can be drunk fairly young.
Château Ramafort 2003
Bright, sustained red.
The character of this wine is starting to come nicely into focus, both in its fruity, floral, spicy, vanilla and toasty notes as well as in its fine tannins. The latter are fat and full, the ideal complement for this soft, lush wine.

Garnet red in colour with ruby tints.
Well-integrated oak on the nose evolves to beautifully ripe black fruit with a delicate hint of balsam.
A rich, harmonious front of palate underpins superbly elegant spicy aromas. The structure unfolds smoothly towards a long, promising finish.

Sustained red, slightly more developed hue at rim.
Ripe fruits on the nose evolving to damp earth and undergrowth.
Superbly harmonious palate with well-integrated tannins and a pleasantly liquorice freshness.

Powerful bouquet, notes of cassis and plum with minerals and spice.
The front of palate is frank, while the firmly perceptible structure provides length and power. Well-integrated, complex aromas.
